I'll add another Idea. I was basically given a Hammond RT-3 The Concert
version of their famous spinet organ loved by jazz types.
The negative ?
57" wide,40" high,29" deep 525 pounds. My basement stair well is 33" wide.
I hired a professional piano movers to pick it up, and put it my basement.
This was 13 years ago, $200. Big Ed's. Three Samoans . When we got to my
house I had the rear door and hand railing off. They took one look and two
of the just picked it up and took it down the stairs.
Both getting it and delivering it didn't look like they stained a single
muscle or broke a sweat.
I gave them a $50 tip.
