Hello Jill;

You might check with Paul (Cebura?). He had a huge warehouse
full of stuff. Not cheap. Someone on here can probably give you
the URL to his site or phone number.

I gotta tell yah - I don't think you're going to get any
volunteers to lend you anything: we've had several threads
about what happened when something was lent to a movie set.

o Director/Producer needs Teletype machine.
o Asks for our help.
o Greenkeyer offers to lend machine and asks "be careful".
o Dir/Prod assures him it will be treated like gold.
o Months later...
o Greenkeyer calls Dir/Prod and can't get ahold of them.
o GK'er goes to studio and EVENTUALLY finds Teletype machine
in studio junkyard, all broken up from abuse by prop-gorillas.
o Studio takes no responsibility for damage.

I (and probably others) "ENJOYED" the part about "the plastic
case cracked" (below).

The 33 wasn't "bumped" it was dropped off a loading dock or something.
The prop-monkeys, who have such a strong union, have zero responsibility
for the way that treat something.

regards,
tony

I wanted to find out just how much the Earth weighs
so I went into the bathroom and turned the scale
up-side-down. BAD PLAN: the scale was crushed beyond
recognition. I'm not strong enough to lift the
Earth off of it, so now I'm stuck with a paper-thin
scale on my bathroom floor. - Tony J. Podrasky
