[GreenKeys] Bell 28LA Waterfall (Stacked Page Printer) Info?

Howdy men - Teletype Corp produced mountains of documents but I still get
baffled at how to ID and find ALL the info about any particular piece of
gear. You guys who worked on these things for a living must have had a
phenomenal memory for all the variations. I am fairly new to teletypery,
and I just can't seem to get my head around how the documentation was
arranged. I hope that some day the light will come on (TP151982, #82 6v
lamp), and I will understand all this better

Was there ever a document that said Bell waterfalls had model Lxxx cabinet,
model Lxxx LESU, model Lxxx typing units, etc. and wiring diagram xxxxWD
showing how it is all put together?

For that matter was there ever such a document for any M28 set or
individual piece of M28 teletype equipment? It seems like there were ten
thousand variations and never any guide to what was actually in them. I
mean where is the list that tells me exactly what LP119xxx or whatever
really means? - the 119th variant of a typing unit but What Is In It? I
have seen lists of letter codes for print box and for paint color so those
make sense, but what about the 119??? I feel like there must be some
Rosetta Stone to decoding these things and I am just missing it!

I have in front of me Exhibit A, a Bell Multiple Page Printer Set
(Waterfall) - no ID tags except on the typing units (which probably aren't

In one edition of the page printer parts book 1149B, I found a list of LBAC
waterfall cabinets, and a cross-index that lists only one Bell cabinet,
28LA which is LBAC227. And there are parts breakdowns that show LBAC227 as
well as other LBAC configurations. There are some LESU rack and 48v p/s
photos that seem to match my unit too, So far so good.
One edition of the page printer A/L manual 217B shows adjustments and
lubrication for the LBAC cabinets and the drawings look like my waterfall.

Now I get stuck - where can I find a Wiring Diagram for this model (3 RO)
and for the LESU that is in it? I have got Navy page printer manuals with
wiring diagrams, etc, but they cover only the Navy variants with SMD
drivers and 4 ROs (or 2 RO + 1 KSR). My LESU has relays and no SMD drivers.
Yeah, I can bypass all this and just go directly to the LP selector
magnets, but I really would like to know how this thing was Supposed To
Work.
