GM OMs;

I disagree.

I'm wondering if the ARRL has a chart that shows the direction
of membership: is it going up or down?

In my dealings with teenagers, I find that nothing interests
them. Their whole world is instant-access. They've grown-up
with all the high-tech stuff at their fingertips. Nothing
amazes them.

They walk like zombies: hands and eyes glued to their
cell phones. Very few conversations (using their voice
to talk to the person next to them) take place.

Other than soccer, I see the bleachers pretty empty when a
baseball or football game is under way.

Here in San Diego, I don't hear ANYTHING on the 10 bands.

I just joined a group that does CW over the internet, using MUMBLE.

It's pretty interesting: there is no QRM/QSB/QRN, there are a bunch
of channels and you can see who is signed-on. You can join a round
table if you like.
