That's quite a good idea.  I wonder if us mechanical tty'ers could sign something like  CQ CQ CQ DE W2HX/TTY  or something. Maybe if enough of us do that other folks will become accustom to the suffix and know what it means. (and avoid us even more!)

I am surprised there is not a designation of one or two letters that identifies someone running a mechanical machine to be inserted at an appropriate time.
