At this time of year my thoughts sometimes go to clean up and organization.   Since I try to never throw anything out this can be an exciting experience for me.

I seem to recall that sometime in the fairly recent past there has been discussion of how to fasten a teletype machine (pre-thirties series, please) to RS-232 and some of the answers were fairly complex.  

So when I saw a March tenth, 2009 schematic come to the top of the pile I thought that perhaps this old data might help someone new.   It is a simple circuit using a Fairchild HSR312L integrated circuit and three other components.   If interested you can send me a note or go directly to Tilson who, I think, is responsible for this simple and valuable information.
