[GreenKeys] OT: North Bend radar site

Bill,

  Worked at an electronics repair shop in the early '70s and got quite a number of customers with a raucous buzz in their hi-fi sets.  Not all the time but cyclic....hmmm.

  Had a cousin stationed there for awhile after it was decommissioned and he said they would occasionally rob parts from the old equipment.  The site has since been turned into a correctional facility.

I was 19 in the Air Force stationed on a Radar Station in North Bend, Oregon
far from Cuba.  We were on a high alert for a while.
