my mother wasn't even a thought in my grandparents' minds yet during
the Cuban Missile Crisis. :P

I missed quite a lot of very interesting world events being born in
1991. Then again I did "arrive" just in time to be involved in the
wonderful world of modern technology, while also not being one of
those <REDACTED> morons with their face glued to a smart phone.


As an aside... why aren't we still doing cool things involving people
on the moon? My grandparents remember the moon landings, my mother
(born in '67) sort of remembers the moon landings. I want to see a
moon landing happening not just old archival footage from back when
men were men and people actually did things.
