The one used in the New York production of that show is available
from Zach Theater Rentals in NYC:

http://www.zachtheatre.org/about/rentals#teletype

It's a dummy, with a motor inside to advance the paper and a sound
system to make Teletype noises. For theatrical purposes, that's
more convenient than the real thing. You get audio volume control,
and don't have the action on stage stalled waiting for the rather
slow printing of a real vintage Teletype.

If you need a real one, History for Hire, in Hollywood, has
several working Teletype machines.

I send all requests for machine loans to those prop houses.
They're set up to deal with the theatrical and film industries.
The teletype restoration community has had enough bad experiences
with production companies that few will loan out machines.
