For the record, I run a PC. Always have. And I've run mostly MS stuff.
 From MS-DOS 4.0, Win 3.11, 95, 98SE, XP, Vista, and 7.
Why? Because it's the most widely supported system out there for
software that does stuff.
I've used Unix variants, from SCO V3.2R4.2, RedHat (a host of others)
and recently Linux Mint.

As to the religious fervor of some, get a grip people, it's a tool. Nothing
more. Some tools are better than others. Some are specific to a task.

Bear in mind one thing about Microsoft, just like the Porn industry, is
what drove the speed up and the cost down of personal computing.
