That is why we used a Arduino to do the converting for us. both 45baud
and ascii-ita2 in one. 9600baud talks to the computer, 45/50baud to the tty.
As a example: http://wiki.edwindertien.nl/doku.php?id=modules:telex
But there are more.
I'm working on a serial chip that talks i2c to a arduino and has a
internal buffer, but regular work and a huge pile of old computers keeps
me from getting to it.
We here at hack42.nl have a siemens t1000 connected to twitter: twelex.
