Trying to figure out if I could get one home from far away in a car.

1. I presume the top part of the machine detaches from the pedestal. True?
2. Is there typically any electronics in the pedestal or is it all
"upstairs"?
3. Does the pedestal break down into flat parts, or is it an
"all-welded-together" affair?
4. A weight quote for some old govt RFP (via Google) said a 35ASR
weighed 225 lbs. Does that seem reasonable or do you think that quote
included a shipping pallet?

Any insight would be appreciated...

Thanks,

-Dave in Boston
