Doug,

I have never seen one repaired so original.  I remove the plastic pins and carefully glue the window in.  I hold the main part of the lid as closed as possible with a rubber band that is just strong enuf.  That keeps the cover from coming off the hinges on the main beige cover.

I made a replacement window for the ASR 33 I'm reconditioning.
