GM OMs;
I found it interesting that, instead of a "built unit" it lists
the price of the parts.
I am assuming that if you want a "built one", that there would be
an assembly charge added.
Reminds me of a story...
Back in the '70s, when I worked for Data General, there was a company
that wanted a computer system. The sale's rep did his presentation,
and typed-up the proposal. The 2 engineers at the company got a hold
of a price catalog, found that the sale's rep was overcharging them
by, like $400.oo, and decided "heck with him and his commission: we'll
order it by ourselves".
Well...
A bunch of boxes came. When I got there I told them that I would unpack
the boxes but not lift the units and put them on the table. ALSO that we
will not take it under a maintenance contract because it isn't in an
approved enclosure.
They were real unhappy campers - especially when they had to talk to
their boss and order the $400.oo cabinet + shipping.

We trained hard... but it seemed that every time
we were beginning to form up into teams we would
be reorganized. I was to learn later in life
that we meet any new situation by reorganizing,
and a wonderful method it can be for creating the
illusion of progress while producing confusion,
inefficiency, and demoralization.
