Them Crypto Vets can tell some really neat stories (iffin you can get 'em to
talk at all)

I once met a ham in Tacoma, WA who was a member of that organization and
told me about his days as a CPO who was attached to Merrill's Marauders.

He related the story of hauling several Model 19s over the Hump in Burma
during WWII. Few pack animals, lotsa native men and women carrying all of
that "stuff" by hand.

I was impressed!!
