While you all are waiting I would use the tubing. Any existing rubber hammers are either hard or mushy.

I don't have much experience with manufacturing, but I assume set-up
osts will be expensive. Individual unit cost after that should be
retty low.
If someone with manufacturing contacts can look at costs for the group,
aybe we'd have a better idea what kind of money we'd need to come up
ith.
