[GreenKeys] Model 15 chassis voltage?

Thanks Norm. I thought the question sounded familiar.
If the only choice is GFCI and ungrounded chassis with a voltage on it, or non-GFCI and a chassis at zero potential, from a safety standpoint what is better? How about in a site with a concrete floor?
Neither option sounds ideal, but the non GFCI approach sounds like the better of the two. My problem is that it is against the electrical code where I live to use non GFCI in the basement.

Unfortunately the nature of the beast is the GFCI outlets wasn't even heard
of when the M15TTYS was first put in service, and there was only two wire
electric outlets to begin with. The reason the GFCI circuit "pops", is the
102874 filter, which is a noise filter that the AC is wired parallel thru
the filter to screw downs #21 & #23 which goes to the motor which pruduces a
short spike at the beginning, when the switch is turned on. The filter is
the unit above the terminal block on the right side of the base. I was
asking the same question that Trammell is asking now, a few weeks back, in
fact I ordered another unit from Paul Mr RTTY and it reacted the same way I
measured both filters and they measured the same, and no high resistances to
ground.. So in conclusion don't use a GFCI outlet if you want to "GRD" your
base, use a GFI if you don't want to "GRD" the base, and it will work fine
and last long time.
