The SDP belts are stronger and will last longer than the originals.

My opinion,
Don

The belts for the machines made after 1963 are mostly standard...
Sadly the belts needed for the Model 28 line are all non-standard.

Wayne, thank you for the heads-up. For those that haven't followed the
link, the catalogs are extensive with just about every belt and cog
you can imagine. I'll be paging through these for my 083 belts.

Regards,
Cory

Greetings fellow TTY people,

I received some drive belts from Stock Drive Products. They are a
perfect match to Teletype's. They dont have the flexibility of the
original and they are off white in color. Havent installed one yet.
The cost is around $5 each and if you order on line there is no
minimum order.

I accidentally ordered the wrong ones and they replaced them with the
correct ones, no charge at all. Very friendly service.

The web site is https://sdp-si.com/eStore/Catalog

The part number is A26R 3-047025. They refer to the belt as a Timing
Belt.
