[GreenKeys] Adjusting the M28 keyboard drive/timing gear

Has anyone ever figured out how to adjust the M28 keyboard drive/timing gear?
I've put two pictures up to illustrate.  The first points to the shaft & gear that I need to adjust upwards maybe .060 or a little more.  The second shows the typingunit seated but the gears not meshing.

Still looking through the manual copies I have to see if there is a procedure.
