heh that was supposed to go off list..
we are dealing with those ribbed belts in restoring the EXTEL printer
too. but they are really tiny belts .
is this unit out on display Cory or at house ? There are not many of
them left.
How many people have card and unit record gear out there?

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I'll have to check a few of these out. I
ran the gamut through Grainger but came up empty handed. Unfortunately, all
I have is an IBM number for the one, nothing on the other, and both are
cracked in half. The rubber's not in the best of shape but I think I can get
good enough measurements if I'm careful. I'll give it a shot- Cory

Subject: [GreenKeys] OT: Cog Belts/Timing Belt Source
Hope this doesn't stray too far off topic, but I was wondering if any
members had a recommended source for the cog belts (sometimes referred to as
timing belts) that are used on TTY (and similar paper tape/punch card)
machines. In this case I'm working on an IBM 083 card sorter and noticed the
similarity to some of my teletype equipment.
Thanks-
Cory Heisterkamp
