Our world is getting more and more like Ray Bradbury's book and movie
Fahrenheit 451
Books are banned. All information comes from the wall sized
government run two-way vision panel.

Even as I write this many school districts no longer teach cursive
writing.

P.S. at&t plans on going out of the land line business before 2020.
Verizon is already replacing land lines with a type of wireless
technology.

Hey George: I had a great time as well! Glad you made it back safely.

The big news at the cedia show was "4K Ultra HD," formerly known as
2Kx4K. Sony had a beautiful 84" 4K tv being driven by the (included
in the price) 4K media server device. This is four-times the
resolution of your soon-to-be-obsolete 1080p HDTV. Incredible
picture. A mere $25,000.

But the priciest thing I saw at the show was an 8-foot-tall awesome
speaker. I asked how much power it could handle, and he said 4000
watts was no problem, and that they really just don't make an amp that
can drive it too hard. It is $200,000, but hey, that's not just for
one; it's for a pair!

GreenKeyers - - -

Got back here about 8 PM Sunday night.

If there are any questions or problems with Fire Sale Items, call or
e-mail me and we'll address them "mosh-kosh" (old Navy term meaning
IMMEDIATELY).

Had a blast with Gil, the Intrepid Moderator, at the electronics
show in Denver.

If you have a couple million bucks and need a transistor radio,
they'll take your money there.

Gil and I regaled each other with sea stories, land stories,
GreenKeys stories, guzzled beer and wine. (2 coronas for me,
3 goat bladders (Glasses) for Gil), declined offers of personal
services from several not so pleasant appearing street people, and
watched the human powered and horse-powered tour services haul their
joyous cargoes up and down the street. The food was good, and the
conversation excellent.

Thanks so much Gil, and when you set up your new factory in Sequim,
I wanna be the janitor!!!

Left Delta,Colorado about noon Saturday, and meandered back here all
day Saturday and most of Sunday.

Unwound yesterday, and today first real task is to replace the
alternator in the van. It growled at me most of the trip but
faithfully made enough juice to keep everything running.

To paraphrase Mel Brooks, "It's GOOD to be the King, But Much better
to be HOME!!!"

Now everyone will please raise their flagons with a "Hear, hear, Mr.
Gil" then continue GreenKeying..

George - W7TTY
