That is a good idea with the scrubby.... I have been using deeply
textured terrycloth towels and need a little more bite. - I like
to spray the times and walk away for a while and let it 'soak'

Any suggestions on what to use to clean the crinkle paint without melting

Pretty good layer of grime. Don't want to scrub off the paint, only the
grime.

UPS seems to be famous for doing exactly what happened to your 15 in the
crate. I try to us Fed Ex ground when I have control over the shipping.

Subject: Re: [GreenKeys] Model 15 KSR in eBay

The Model 15 I got off eBay Sunday night arrived UPS today!
Even though it was crated in wood and had an obvious top and bottom. UPS
managed to drop it on the top and bust the top of the crate off.
Luckily, there was no damage and the base of the TTY just got jammed into
the cover from the force. A little prying and it came off.
Looks like it was made in 1959, so a pretty new one, also judging from the
style of the selector magnets.
