The Switchcraft 3 conductor (TRS) bushing mounted (as in patch panels and
telco stuff) with two N.C. leafs for the tip and ring respectively. This
allows for shorting when a plug is removed.

And yes, 1/4" plugs fit just fine. Both W.E. Mil and Radio Shack.
