[GreenKeys] Cut cable PDP-8 to TTY 33

The data cable from my antique PDP-8 to its TTY model 33 has been
cut, and also, there was already a funny choice of connector on the
cable.
This is a 6 conductor cable -- it has a reader-run relay as well as
bidirectional data. The plug on the cable where it originally connected
to a pigtail from the TTY was a 12 conductor Jones plug -- seems
like a bit of recycled hardware, judging by the amount of solder on
unused pins.
My thought is to replace that with a 6 conductor Jones plug and also
use a pair of such plugs where the cable was cut.
Any better ideas? As far as I can tell, there's no such thing as a
standard plug for TTY connection to old DEC computers. Instead, the
random selection of plugs from the parts box seems to have dominated the
market.
