Back in the mid '80s I was working at an unspecified aerosapce
company on an unspecified portion of the Strategic Defense
Initiative.

Proudly displayed on the wall of my office was a picture of the
USS Thresher heading out on it's maiden voyage.

Most people just said, "Oooohers, pretty picture."

Some of my more cynical co-workers made the connection.
