GA OMs;

There are few things that crank me off more than the PC nonsense -
especially when it takes a perfectly accurate description and corrupts
it with some idiotic term WITH THE THEORY that the new title won't hurt
someone's feeling like the old one did.

If you can't handle the truth (or reality), well, maybe this is the
planet for you.

I am BALD - not "folically challenged".

I had a GREAT HEAD OF HAIR back in the'60s when I was a Hippie. Now, I'm
BALD - and that just tough-on-me. It's OK - I can deal with it.

Or maybe I can contact PC-Headquarters and have a law passed that
requires everyone - including women - to shave their heads - because it
isn't fair that they have hair and I don't... :-)

-:-BUT-:-

I also remember, back when I was studying for the Novice Exam, that
the materials from ARRL said never to discuss politics, sex, or religion
on the air: it only gets people cranked-off.

Scott Adams (the creator of the comic strip "Dilbert") was once asked
why he never made a joke about [whoever was in the white house at the
time]. Scott's answer was: because, in one single comic I would alienate
50% of my readers instantly!

I feel that it's best we keep our posts in-line with the name of this
forum - buy anything radio-ish is fine by me. I like cw and am looking
forward to this year's Night-of-nights.

UE,
W6ESE - tony
