Gil,
I solved my AOL issue by turning off the aol spam filter. I dont have aol on my computer, just go to the web site to get my mail. I still have all my protection on Comcast and AVG and Windows. So far its working fine. Just have to be careful to only open email from known senders like Greenkeys.

Sorry David; I don't have good news.
Well, yeah, according to arrl, their internet problems "may result in delaying the delivery of some messages," but when that happens for a prolonged period (which, in interrnet time might just be a few minutes), robots like the greenkeys mailman system think you are scum and shut you out. Sorry; I can't change the system. You need to get an "acceptable" mail server, or big brother will be after you.
I guess the message here is that arrl is bad, bad, bad. And from previous issues we also know that aol is bad, bad, bad.
I can't change big brother.

I found this on the ARRL website:
05/09/2013
The ARRL’s e-mail service provider is continuing to experience technical issues that are affecting timely delivery of e-mail messages sent via the arrl.net forwarding service, as well as e-mail sent to addresses in the arrl.org domain. This issue remains intermittent, but may result in delaying the delivery of some messages sent to both arrl.net and arrl.org addresses by hours. The ARRL’s e-mail provider is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Hey folks:
Does anyone know what is up with arrl.net? I just had mailman inform me that almost a dozen greenkeys folks who use the address were unsubscribed due to "excessive or fatal" bounces (mail cannot be delivered to the address). I am unsure what the difference is between excessive and fatal, but there you have it.
When I browse to arrl.net it dumps me to arrl.org, so perhaps the addresses need to be changed. Of course, the affected folks will not receive this post, so I need to copy-n-paste them all into a message later, but I was wondering if anyone on the list knows what is going on.
thanks,
gil
