I am a volunteer researcher at the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia
Beach VA. The museum has purchased and transported a watch tower from
Goxhill England for reconstruction at the museum and we are trying to get a
line on the equipment installed during WWII.

Anyone have a line on a Creeds 7b. This was the tty used by the British
Teletype Defence Network during WWII it was also used by the US Army Air
Force in England.

Collectively the equipment was known as "Start - Stop Telegraphy" and was
installed by the Post Office and Cables Ltd. There would be two systems
installed. One for weather information the other for command to command
information. Each system consisted of:

Teleprinter type 7b

Equipment Table DTN 2000

Rectifier 22 (for 110v motor)

Rectifier 26a (for signaling power)

Bell type 564a

Regards

Don
