right on!
in the 70's kept the ribbon for my 14 typing reperf going for ages
with wd40!
I would like to find a nice 14 typing reperf with the celluion type
keys on it
both as a display item for the museum but also out of fondness of the one I
had eons ago....

I have had some moderate good results in applying some wd40 to the
ribbon. first i wrap it around a big flat or cylindrical core to make it
easier to to aply. don't soak them, just apply a tyny amount. rewind and
let it sit for a day so the ink gets time to dilute again.
