I wrote an article for either 73 or CQ magazine about modifying
an SX-64 (the suitcase version) of the Commodore C-64 to allow
it to use it with the Digicom packet radio modem.

If I remember right, it was a matter of swapping the boot bios
eprom from a C-64 into an SX-64 to make it aware of the connector.
