I've used syringes from the farm store. These are available in lots of
different sizes including pretty small ones. The tip of the needle on
these is cut on a bevel and makes it real easy to get a nice drop.

However-- they definitely have the neoprene plunger problem because the
plunger gets jammed in them if they are left sitting with the lubricant
in them after use. They are so cheap though, that I just toss them
after this happens and grab another from the package.
I've used them for both oil and grease application.
