A comment or two about the ongoing discussion!

There is nothing more dangerous to the U.S., or Canada for that matter, 
than politicians and their supporters.  It needs to be discussed by 
everyone in a rational way - yet, it isn't or can't be for the most part. 
See the previous comments.  Most people want to stick their head in a 
hole and ignore the problems as if they will eventually go away.  They 
will not - but they will get worse.  People in the U.S. and elswhere 
historically respond to only two things - their wallet and what they can 
get by with. 

Wish I could offer a solution but I can't.  I do have some strong 
convictions about where it is all going to end up if we continue the 
current course of events.

Having said that, however, I do believe that we should keep  the subject 
matter as close to tty machines as we can since that is why we are here!

And I will shut up!
