Please feel offended at your own leisure. but we are people, not 
machines, and therefore tend to express more than the strictly nessesary 
information including headers, hash-keys and parity bits.

The ASR-33 you mention could comes around frequently in the group.

we at hack42.nl just got two of them an i just restaurated one of them. 
Now i'm working on a Siemens t37 telex and boy, what a difference. the 
ASR-33 is one of the last mechanical terminal devices and reflects this 
in being set up very cheap and minimal. self-threading fixing screws are 
also calibrations screws, thin steel. But superb documentation and nice 
drawings going with it. The Siemens (designed in 1933) on the other hand 
is well build, thick cast aluminium and nice cylinderhead screws, but 
documentation is horrorbly set up, with all the text in the beginning, 
and all the pictures in the end (no drawings!)

But i like them both, because they reflect two complete different 
engineering eras
