the interface
box connecting the loop  to the radio it's pretty easy to get on the air 
using just
a  transmit/receive switch.  I even made a set of "macros" using the punch,

send "CQ" and the rest from paper tape, which was fun.   Nothing new for 
folks here
but it was pretty neat having no computer  involved at all...
