I know I have seen some messages from Linotype machine fanatics from time to
time, so I wanted to let them know I have some Linotype books that I found
in the miscellaneous boxes I got from the Indiana School of the Deaf last
year when they gave me their old Teletype machines.

The covers are beat-up, but the pages inside are very good and the
illustration, photos, exploded view drawings and text are great. If some
person would like them please contact me directly and I can send you some
photos of the books. I would hate to toss these in the trash, but I have
absolutely no use for them, so call or email me soon. You have them for the
cost of shipping.

Linotype Machine Principles (1940), Mergenthaler Linotype Company, 486
pages, 9 ½ x 6 ½.

Linotype Instruction Book (1925), Mergenthaler Linotype Company, 242 pages,
9 ½ x 6 ½.

Linotype One-Line Specimens (1958), Mergenthaler Linotype Company, 292
pages, 10 ¼ x 7 ½.

Linotype Copy Fitting Booklet (no date), Mergenthaler Linotype Company, 22
pages, 7 ½ x 4 ¾.

Cheers,
