[GreenKeys] 6 Bit? Linotype TTS?

Phillip,
The magazine arrangement on your machine is unlike anything I've seen on this continent. I have come across photos of a number of German machines, and the magazine frame always looks very distinct -- is quite 'sculpted' looking on German machines. The rest of the machine looks similar enough, but most of the parts look different enough to be incompatible.
Until I get a wall built, my Linotypes share space with my woodworking operations, which at times can produce an astonishing amount of dust. I've found the best tools to take care of the dust are a 4" (I mean 10 cm!) paint brush and an air compressor. I'd much rather clean dust off of something than grease. Maybe we should switch places for a stretch! :-)
Yes, a Lorenz Lo15. It doesn't have the enclosure, and some pieces of the tape mechanism are missing, but it is otherwise functional. I received it from a local ham that put it together from the spare parts he had kicking around. He ran a Lo15 as his main TTY for years, until a Model 28 took over. I am in Canada -- Apparently, CN (Canadian National) Rail used Lorenz equipment in its network. It seems that for a period it was quite common to import telecommunications equipment from Europe. I have an electromechanical British Ericsson 50 line PABX in my accumulation as well; it's amazing that it was deemed more economical to bring something from Europe than to import it from south of the border.

At least for the European machines it seems that some central parts are the same over all models. So I assume that the American ones are very closely related. In the paperwork I have I also found references to other model numbers found in Europe but not in Germany. It probably would be easier to distingish the machines by description of features than by numbers.
