I am sill in pain. Went through aggressive Knee
Therapy a little while ago. I should get back home
in three weeks. That is what I am pushing for.
I never worked on any weather TTY's only the
TT-299 MITE KSR.
I have a TT-98/FG. Kleinschmidt. I got it off ebay a
couple of years ago. It was from the Tobyhanna De-
pot in Penn.
It looked to be in perfect condition. I found real
quickly it was set at 100 WPM . So I changed it to
60 WPM and after two hours , the series governor
speed to fast. I had TT- 230 Reperf. So I changed
the motor, starter relay and starter capacitor.
It has worked perfectly ever since. While the VA
Hospital Rehab unit I eBayed a Ratt Nest Universal
AFSK FIFO for Teletype. I should be able to change
the gears back to 100 WPM again. They say it should
run better.

How exciting they are to me and it is relieve some
some pain on my knee.
