How about telephone intercom buzzers?
(Well, technically they weren't for the intercom, but for outside calls, 
but that is the way almost all were connected).

They're small, with spade leads.

The only issue is that they are 10v AC which might be a show stopper.

If you need a buzzing sound from DC, that will require interrupting 
contacts in the buzzer.
