As far as power.  Find the AC inputs.  Suggest using a meter and not 
your fingers!!
find any single pole, double throw switch and wire to both sides of the 
motor wires between the switch and AC input.  The motor will work if it 
is good.

As far as the printer.  find a tool that fits on both side of the main 
shaft cluch and turn counterclockwise while pushing back some of the 
selector levers.  Try different levers and see where the print box stops 
and striker hits the key.  If memory serves the top three levers will 
produce an R (five level).

Find the DC source and wire the signal generator on the KYBD in series. 
You should have contact from KYBD.
