There are two steel boxes mounted to the right side of the machine.

One, I think, is the outline marked LS on the schematic with the
relays in it.

The other one has a small power transformer, a single diode, one
of those flat selenium bridge rectifier assemblies a fuse and a light
bulb to illuminate the back of the motor when you're setting the
speed. (Which, of course, NO mention is made of it in the manual.)

The other one is on the bench right now being "gone through."
I replaced the 40 uF 100 vdc electrolytic with a 47 uF 160 vdc
part. And pulled the bridge rectifier apart. 12 selenium plates
total that seems about right for the b 90 markings. And the
physical size (area) of the plates seem right for the C 600 part.

Ah the joys of being anal enough to repair all the little bits and
pieces inside. ;-)
