[GreenKeys] A portable Baudot terminal -- A simple solution

George, W7TTY informed me that there is a need for a simple terminal program
that takes BAUDOT at 45.45 BAUD from an RS-232 port and allows one to to
send and receive using a simple terminal program on a WindowsXP or Windows7
computer.

I've been working such a solution for the last month that works with an
ST-8000 or ST-6 with the RS-232 port mod. I've been developing the software
using an ST-8000 with a M-28 KSR and ASR.

Download the following Zipped file, create a directory on your computer and
extract the executable in that directory. (if this sounds complex, then
wait a few months until I complete the software and package it for formal
Windows distribution).

To use it, simply select ComPort (1 thru 8) and BAUD_Rate (preferrably
45.45). Compose your text in the send window and press the "Send" button.
If Xmit_Control is enabled it will key the RTS or DTR line to enable your
transmitter. The ST-8000 detects received data and does this for you
(similar to VOX).

The Xmit_Control enables an RX/TX realtime button that is still in
development.
