We got the 1340 out today.  Seems o.k.  This is a KSR. You could use it as an electric typewirter, except that it does not auto LF on a CR.   I have not fired it up, but other than maybe being dried out from not being turned on it's. o.k.  I have not found the other one, which is an RO.  
 
I also remember I have an IBM printing terminal.  This used parallel EBCDIC  ( Think I have that right ) so there is a box that goes with it that uses a Centronics protocol in on a Centronics connector to talk to the computer.  Some where I have a lot of type balls for this. It uses regular Selectric II typeballs.
