Off the AJ subject, and I know "everyone" does it, but there is REALLY only 
one D-subminiature connector properly called a "DB".  The second letter is 
the shell size, like two of the digits in the nomenclature of the old common 
"MS" connectors.  And a DB happens to have 25 contacts.  Only.  The "25" is 
redundant.  The list goes like this:

DA  15
DB  25
DC  37
DD  50
DA  9
