We have a new toy to play with!

Thanks to the efforts of the more than fabulous George, W7TTY, a Kleinschmidt TT-76B made its way from the far Northwest to the Deep South to take up residence amongst its brother Kleinschmidts.

The machine has had AC power applied and runs without issue in local mode.  It appears to be geared for 100wpm or else it might be even now punching tapes of TTY art on the Saturday Pic show on AutoStart.  It will soon be changed to 60wpm if that is the gear set on the external storage posts (I'm hoping that is the case).

This machine is so pristine it must have never seen any extended service.  It is like factory clean.

All I need to find is a couple of Kleinschmidt ribbon spools so I don't have to rob one of its other brothers to be able to "read" what is printing on the edge of the tape that also recently came to roost in my comm shack.  Talk about timing!  Tape, reperf, & TD all within weeks of each other.
