Fascinating stuff. Especially the way they justify the text by expanding 
the space elements.

I think that a gross calumny on my fellow countrymen! I always pronouce 
matrices with a long a. In fact the Oxford English Dictionary gives only 
that pronunciation. I would guess that it's narrated by a speaker whose 
first language is not English, bearing in mind the provenance of the 
video is Italian.
