>Video about the Linotype at the end shows the 'automatic operator' 6 level tape

The original digitization of this video was done by the Prelinger Archives.
It is available in two parts at The Internet Archive (who host
the Prelinger Archives of industrial/etc. videos) at:

https://archive.org/details/Typesett1960
https://archive.org/details/Typesett1960_2

(You can get it there in about seven different formats.
The Teletypesetter bits happen starting at time 13:30 in Part 2.)

The machines shown in it are actually Intertype machines (Intertype
was the "Linotype clone," but everything shown on them applies
to Linotypes as well. (But Linotype never made the "Visilite" TM
magazine with the plexiglas front.)

US viewers might also note that it was narrated by an Englishman.
So he pronounces "matrices" as something much more like mattresses.
Most US hot metal folks would say something more like "MAY trih sees"

They're very nice videos, well worth the attention of anyone with
an interest in things mechanical.

David M.
