[GreenKeys] n00b question about M15 motors

Hey all -

I'm in the middle of a major cleaning and lubricating of my model 15.  The motor bearings have spring-loaded ball fittings in the top of them.  Some of the old military literature I've read calls for greasing the motor bearings, but I've never seen a grease gun with a "needle" tip, which is what would be required to penetrate the ball fittings on my motor.

Does the "civilian" (AC, non-governed) version of the motor use oil or grease?  If grease, then what tool is recommended to do that?

TIA.

Cheers,

Keith
