Hey guys,
Made more progress on the 15 this weekend. Had an unexpectedly large amount of time on my hands, so I got quite a bit done... Took a couple pics while I was roughing the wiring in... Looks like I should have cleaned the little lens window thing on my cell phone lol.

Tried my hand at wire lacing...my camera garbled the pictures, so I'll have to take some new ones, but I thought it turned out pretty well. I'm sure any of the guys that have done it for years could tell me all the things I did wrong, but at least it looks about right and is fully functional.
Now, up until this point the wiring didn't make any sense to me, but while I was running the new wires the lightbulb went off (pun intended). It looks like in its most basic form, it's just two terminals for the selector magnets, two terminals for the keyboard transmitter, and the power to the motor (unless I'm missing something). I put a new power cord on it, and plugged it in...hit the switch and the motor spun back to life :). So, I got at least that part of it correct... The motor ran ok, but sounded about like I was starting up my table saw...is that normal? Being on a wooden bench that reverberated all the sound probably doesn't help, but it seemed pretty loud. I let it run for a while just to see if would start smoking or anything, but it seems to work ok.
So, the motor base is more or less done at this point I think. I also spent about an hour scrubbing the typing unit with solvent and a toothbrush, trying to get the last of the old congealed lube out of it before I finish lubing it. The dashpot just barely moved before, but it's nice and smooth now. It's just about ready to put the main shaft back in I think. After that, I still need to lube the type bar basket. And lube the underside of the keyboard. And then I think (I think) it's ready to see if it will actually run...
