I don't have any first-hand experience with the TT-234, but according to 
p 1-25 of  NAVELEX 0967-LP-104-0010:

    "TT-234/SGA-3    Model 28 Keyboard Send-Receive Page Printer Set.
    Consists of floor cabinet, friction feed typing unit, keyboard,
    synchronous motor, electrical service unit and gears for 56.9 baud.
    7.42 unit code, 60 Hz, 115VAC. Includes communication symbol
    arrangement, automatic carriage return and line feed and power and
    signal line filters."

This implies 75 wpm unless you can change the gears.
