Thanks! Now I just have to get it back together lol. Fingers crossed it actually runs when I'm done. I'll never forget the first V8 I ever built...had it back in the car and couldn't get it to run. Kept backfiring through the carb, and actually had it catch fire lol. Eventually figured out I had the distributor in 180* off. Flipped it around and it roared to life. The little things matter LOL.

Sounds good...a couple other list members pointed me in the same direction. I should have a bunch of rings and spades in my electrical "stuff", so I'll probably crimp and solder some uninsulated one where needed.
Hope everybody had a good Christmas!
Here's a couple pics of the finished base with the keyboard stuck in it.

Color rendition of my cell phone under CFL bulbs isn't really accurate, but you get the idea. The keyboard has original paint, and they look pretty good together. Fuse block and new fuse are back on it.
Here's what it looked like right after I took the TU and motor off it.

Couple little things to do on it, like refinish the metal tags.
Next up I guess is wiring the base and putting the TU back together. Still looking for a send/receive/break switch if anyone has a spare they'd sell...
